This is a great recipe a friend of mine cooked up once while we were fishing. An odd time to create a recipe, no? The fish weren’t biting, and that’s all I’m going to say about that. It turns out this is excellent on crackers (my friend prefers Ritz, I prefer Town House). I call it ‘pate’ because it’s similar in appearance. Give it a try, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised!
This actually serves a whole crowd, as it’s a great party dip too, but is easily divided in half or even quartered.
5-7 green onions
1/4c diced black olives
2 tbs fresh, chopped cilantro
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp lemon pepper
1 tsp (or to taste salt)
1c finely chopped earthworms
Mix all ingredients together using a blender or food processor. Chill for at least 4 hours, but preferably overnight to let all the flavors mingle.  Serve to those you despise
April Fool’s, y’all. Thanks for reading ![]()
