Read Me First!

The number one most important thing is a free spirit and attitude when cooking! Cooking should be a fun, relaxing experimental time. Yes, experimental! Recipes should be approached as suggestions. Don’t be afraid to adjust the ingredients to suit your particular tastes or spice rack. I highly recommend buying and experimenting with various spices. Many unique and delicious results can be had with the right spices on hand.

Most of my measurements are approximate, so taste while you make! I measure into my hand. I find my intuition guides my cooking as well as had I used measuring spoons or fractional cups.

The recipes I’m sharing here are favorites of my husband and I. As a childfree couple we have no need to cook for more than two normally. Over the years I’ve developed a tasty and relatively healthy menu that we enjoy. I’m also constantly experimenting with other dishes and flavors and will record my successes here as well.

I hope you enjoy and bon appetit!

P.P.S.  Please read the following regarding the my use of supplements in my cooking.

All of my assessments of nutritional value are based on what knowledge I possess and a few faithful references I check when I’m unsure of my information.  I am not a dietitian or anything of the sort.  Rather I was like a majority of people, eating a piss poor diet and not knowing enough to care much about the fact.

Obviously, anything posted on this site is my opinion alone and should not be considered any kind of medical advice whatsoever.  Always consult your doctor before beginning any supplementation of your diet.  What works for me, may not work for you.  Buyer beware, YMMV and all the rest.  Use your brains.
